Ecuador trip report: Antisana (4)

After the paramo, we continued until La Mica lagoon, at 3820 m high. There we found three Andean aquatic species that we add today to the web: Slate-colored Coot, Andean Teal and Silvery Grebe. With this material we finished our Antisana visit and we returned to Turi Quindi, Juan Carlos' guest house, to rest for the next day. In the gardens we could get this Saffron Finch and this Sparkling Violetear. The day at the paramo was really cold and we needed a home-and-hot-tea afternoon!

Tomorrow... Pasochoa!
